The Lamb Shoppe is hosting a Fall Festival that is open to the public on their sheep farm, health food store and wellness center near Hutchinson on Saturday, September 20th from 10 am - 4 pm. Admission is $5 for adults, children 16 and under are free. The event will begin with an Herb Walk lead by master herbalist, Connie Karstens. During the Herb Walk Karstens will discuss the medicinal and edible qualities of many local plants that are considered weeds. Just after lunch, a farm tour will include a sheep shearing, a hayride through the acres of pastures to see the grazing sheep and guard donkeys, and a working dog demonstration by the farm's trained New Zealand Huntaway dogs. The afternoon will be filled with educational health sessions from wellness experts.
