Learn to create your own unique hand-woven basket. Participants will be guided through weaving pliable willow reeds . All supplies are provided.
Class instructor, Hanna Jacobsen, is a Minnesota Master Naturalist and outdoor enthusiast.
Basketry is made from a variety of fibrous or pliable materials—anything that will bend and form a shape. While basket weaving is one of the widest spread crafts in the history of human civilization. Because natural materials like wood and grass decay naturally and constantly it is impossible to date basketry properly.Date and Time
