DESCRIPTION:MGA WOMEN'S SENIOR AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP\n\nCrow River Golf Club\, Hutchinson\, MN\n\nMonday-Tuesday\, September 18-19\, 2017\n\nEntry Fee: $100/$140 walk/ride\n\nEntries Accepted: Monday\, March 6\, 2017\n\nEntry Deadline: Tuesday\, September 5\, 2017\n\nEligibility\n\nEntry is limited to the first 156 players to enter. Entries are open to female amateur golfers who are: (1) currently Associate Members of the MGA at the club from which they are playing\, (2) whose club is a current member club of the MGA\, and (3) at least 50 years of age as of September 18\, 2017. Entries are accepted on a first-received basis. All entries are subject to approval or rejection at any time by the MGA Tournament Committee.\n\nChampionship Format\n\nThe Championship will consist of two divisions: Senior (50 and older GROSS) and Master (65 and older NET). Players that are eligible can elect to play in the master division. Players will be placed in flights within their Division based on their handicap index based on the revision of September 1. All players will play 18 holes of stroke play each day. The Champion will be the player in the Championship Flight with the lowest total gross score after 36 holes. A tie for the Overall Championship will be played off immediately\, hole by hole\, until a champion is determined. Ties for first and other places within flights other than Championship Flight will be determined by a matching of final round scorecards following the USGA recommendation.\n\nDress Code\n\nFor all MGA competitions\, players and caddies must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing. All entrants are required to wear appropriate golf attire as defined by the host club and/or the MGA. Short shorts\, athletic shorts\, tennis shorts\, denim\, tank tops\, T-shirts and sweats are not acceptable. The committee will decide whether this requirement has been met and will withdraw the entry of any player not complying.\n\nCode of Conduct Policy\n\nThe MGA Conduct Policy will be strictly enforced at the Championship. It may be viewed online in the Tournament Section of the MGA website.\n\nEntry Deadline\n\nPlayers are encouraged to enter MGA events online through the MGA website www.mngolf.org. Entries will not be accepted before 8:30 am Monday\, March 6\, 2017\, but must arrive no later than Tuesday\, September 5\, 2017\, at the office of the Minnesota Golf Association\, Inc.\, 6550 York Avenue South\, Suite 211\, Edina\, MN 55435. Entry fee must accompany entry form. A separate check or money order must accompany each MGA championship entry. Late or incomplete entries are not acceptable and will be returned. Entries submitted by telephone\, e-mail or fax are not acceptable. Time limit for entries means time of receipt at MGA (not time of postmark). The entrant is responsible for any fee incurred by the MGA for NSF checks and must pay such fees before entry in further MGA events is allowed.\n\nCarts and Caddies\n\nCarrying your bag\, the use of a pull cart (including motorized) and motorized riding carts are permitted. Only motorized carts provided by the host facility may be used. Contestants are responsible for paying the appropriate fee for the use of such carts prior to play each day. Crow River GC will not have caddies available. You are encouraged to bring your own caddie\, if desired.\n\nPractice Rounds\n\nPractice rounds may be available for a fee at the discretion of the Host Facility.
