DESCRIPTION:The Distant Drums event is a competitive drumming program that will feature ten drumlines from surrounding areas of Minnesota and western Wisconsin\, as well as our own local Phoenix Drumline.  The Phoenix Drumline consists of seventeen members in the 7th through 12th grades from Hutchinson\, Glencoe\, Norwood/Young America\, Silver Lake\, Brownton\, and Chanhassen.  The drumlines featured in this event are: \n\n\n\nDassel-Cokato High School Winter Drumline\n\nHenry Sibley High School\n\nTotino Grace High School Percussion Ensemble\n\nTHE HERD Winter Drumline of Buffalo High School\n\nGreendale High School Winter Percussion Ensemble\n\nRocori High School Drumline\n\nForest Lake Ranger Drumline\n\nMenomonie High School\n\nNight Fire Winter Drumline\n\nRiver Valley Percussion Theatre of Elk River High School\n\nPhoenix Drumline\n\n\n\nEach of these drumlines must participate in eight shows in order to compete at the state finals in St. Cloud on April 2.  Join in on the fun and excitement of this fast-paced show!
