Historical Society and Museum Permanent Collection. Lori Pickell-Stangel\, Executive Director with the McLeod County Historical Society & Museum\, will present a short talk on the history of 19th Century Crayon Portraits and the stories of these lesser known faces from the region. A unique opportunity to see a portion of the Historical Society's incredible permanent collection. Reception begins at 2:00\, Gallery talk at 2:30 followed by a social hour. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
