Tuesday, March 3, 2009:
11:00 am - until food is gone: Taste of Culture, Commons
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring a cultural dish to share for this taste of many cultures experience.
2:00 pm: Movie & Discussion, Auditorium, Room 270 "Crash" (122 minutes, rated R)
This compelling urban thriller tracks the volatile intersection of a multiethnic cast of characters struggling to overcome their fears as they careen in and out of one another’s lives.

11:00 am: Movie & Discussion, Commons, "A Class Divided: Blue-eyes, Brown-eyes" (57 minutes, not rated)
In 1970, a public school teacher in Riceville, Iowa, divided her all-white, all-Christian third-graders into blue- and brown-eyed groups for a lesson on discrimination. On successive days, each group was treated as inferior and subjected to discriminatory treatment.
