*Free performances by Bernie Williams Band on the Water Carnival Stage at Les Kouba Point from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and also from 8:00- 9:30 PM

• Canoe Races (sponsored by Allina Home Oxygen and Hutch Sport Shop and Conducted by  Boy Scout Troop 623)

 *5:15- 6:00 PM Check-in at Les Kouba park boat landing

 *6:15 PM the race will begin (Rain Date: Thursday, June 12)

 *Will begin at 7:00 PM at West River Park (Rain Date: Thursday, June 12)

 *The parade will be featuring the 2008 Royalty and the 2009 Queen Candidates.  There is no entry fee for businesses, non-profit organizations, or individuals.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the best decorated entries!  Entry forms are available at Vivid Image.

• Carnival Midway by All American Amusements (sponsored by Applebees and Home State Bank)

 *The Carnival Midway will open today at 11 AM and remain open until 10 PM at West River Park!  Come enjoy the rides, games, and food!

 *New to the Water Carnival line-up this year is the Water Carnival Stage at Les Kouba Point.  The Water Carnival Stage will feature local talent performing free shows and demonstrations!

• Taste of Water Carnival (sponsored by Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau)

• Teddy Bear Band Concert (sponsored by 3M Company and Hutchinson Medical Center)

 *The concert that is open to kids of all ages will begin at 12:00 Noon in Library Square (Rain Location: Rec Center).  Bring your teddy bear along!!

• Water Carnival Baseball and Band Night at Veteran’s Memorial Field (sponsored by Huskies Baseball and Downtown Clothing Company)

 *The Baseball Game will start at 7:00 PM.  There will be music by The Rhythm KIngs Band from 9:15- 12:30 AM.  The cost of admission is $4.00 before the game and $5.00 after the game.  The price includes the baseball game and music.  Food, beverages, and concessions will be available!

• Miss Hutchinson Pageant (sponsored by Landscape Concepts and Hutchinson Ambassadors)

 *The pageant will begin at 7:30 PM in the High School Auditorium.  General admission tickets are $7.00 at the door.  Scholorship Patron tickets are available from Bethany Carter at (320) 587-5057.

Saturday, June 20

• Run By The River 8K Run/ 1 MIle Kids Run/ 5K Fun and Fitness Walk/ Run (sponsored by Jay Malone Motors, Hutchinson Area Health Care, Snap Fitness, and Main Street Sports Bar)

 *Registration is at 7:30 AM at West Riverside Park.  The 1 mile Kids Run is at 8:00 AM.  The 8 K run along the Luce Line Trail will start at 8:30 AM.  At 8:35 AM the 5K Fun and Fitness Walk/ Run will begin.  A T-shirt is included for all pre-registered participants!  Registration forms are available from Josh Gehlen at (320) 583-9203.

• Water Carnival Bike Ride (sponsored by America’s Racquet and Fitness and Hutch Sport Shop)

 *Registration at West Riverside Park from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.  The bike ride is a 17.6-mile loop that starts at 11:00 AM.  A helmet is required to participate.  A T-shirt is included for all pre-registered participants!  Registration forms are available from Josh Gehlen at (320) 583-9203.

• Wake Board Contest and Pro Wake Boarder Demonstration (sponsored by Shred 101 and Pinewski’s Ski and Board Shop)

 *Parade starts at 1 PM at Main Street and 1st Ave NW, proceeding south on Main St., west on 4th Ave SW, south on Lynn Rd, west on Linden, and ending at the intersection of Harrington and LInden.

• Pork Chop Dinner (served by Hutchinson Civil Air Patrol)

 *4 PM to 7 PM at Butler Field (Hutchinson Airport)

• Miss Hutchinson Coronation (sponsored by Stearnswood, Inc.)

 *The coronation will begin at 7 PM in the Hutchinson High School Auditorium.  Admission is free with a Water Carnival Button or $3.00 at the door.  Bring a canned food item for the McLeod County Food Shelf!!

• Free Concert by Hush (sponsored by City of Hutchinson and Hutchinson Utilities)

 *Music from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM on the Water Carnival Stage at Les Kouba Point.  Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.  Bring your own coolers and lawn chairs.  Stay in your seat to watch the fireworks display afterwards!!

 *Displayed over the Crow River at 10 PM.  Free seating and parking at Roberts Park, Oddfellows Park, and Les Kouba Point!!
