Saturday features a Children’s Carnival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with CJ the deejay, games, dunk tank and fair food. There’s no charge to participate and the public is welcome.
At 5:30 p.m. a buffet dinner will be served with a menu of two meats, potato, vegetable, fresh fruit, rolls and beverage. Dinner tickets are $10 per person.
Following the dinner, vocalist Erin Bode will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Tickets are $12 each. A dinner and concert combined ticket is available for $20 per person.
Sunday, Sept. 20, features a worship service at 8 a.m. followed by fellowship in the Peace Center with rolls, coffee and juice. There will be no 9:20 a.m. service.
The dedication service is at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Miller as the guest speaker. A picnic featuring German food including brats, sauerkraut and German potato salad will be served.
There is no charge to attend, but a free-will offering will be taken.
An open house with refreshments will be served from 2 to 4 p.m.
The public is welcome to celebrate this new facility with the members of Peace Lutheran.
