Belonging Begins with Us

A grass-roots coalition representing more than a dozen community organizations is planning this event featuring music, games and food to celebrate unity among Hutchinson-area residents. The schedule includes a short program, flag presentation, drum circle, food vendors and more. Organizers say the event is centered around the belief that everyone deserves a sense of belonging in their community, regardless of their background. The event is designed to show newcomers and longtime residents alike that they are an important part of what makes Hutchinson special.
