Create a Holiday Stocking

Explore your holiday spirit - create a holiday stocking and at the same time - recycle! Go green with flannel or a denim shirt. Recycle them into fun, decorative or useful artistic creations! Winter-time / holiday stocking to hang? Wall pouch to hang to hold mail, keys, gloves or? Maybe a comfy pillow to use while enjoying a movie with the family or to keep your back warm and supported while driving? Dog/cat bed, or? This class will show you any of the above or assist you in your own original creation. Bring any shirt you like, washed and ironed, (more than one if you want to mix and match). Bring any decorations, buttons, snaps, beads, charms, ribbons, lace, leather, trimmings, feathers, rhinestones, anything that seems interesting to you. For all abilities from novice to experienced. Take a break and relax in this non-stressful class focused on reuing items you would normally discard. When you sign up, let us knwo if you have anyting particular in mind and we'l have additional items on hand for your project. In this two hour class you'll create your project from start to finish. $25 class fee and $5 supply fee. Student supply list: Flannel or denim shirt, scissors, any embellishments you like.
