Empty Bowls

The event will take place on Saturday, March 21 from 11am-1pm at Hutchinson High School. The event will feature handmade bowls made by professionals, hobbyists, and students. On Saturday, March 21 the community will come together to purchase a bowl for a suggested donation of $20 and have it filled with hearty soup. The bowl becomes a keepsake and a reminder of those whose bowls are empty. We are partnering with the Harvest of the Month program, through the school, to offer a soup made with seasonally, locally available ingredients. A few soups will be available for everyone's enjoyment. Everyone is welcome to this event & all proceeds go to our local food shelf and the weekend feeding program for Common Cup. The cost of a bowl is a suggested donation of $20, but no one will be turned away if they cannot pay. There will be some bowls at $5 as well. There will be a small Silent Auction.
