Local Christian Band "The Project" will be giving a free concert!
Wednesday, August 12th, 6 p.m. in Library Square, Hutchinson
The band features talented local musicians from four different local churches, including Steve Olcott of Christ the King (drums), Mona Hjerpe of Faith Lutheran (vocals), Kirk Hendrickson of St. Anastasia Catholic Church (vocals, electric guitar), Adam Krumrie (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Billy Woodside (bass guitar) both of Shalom Baptist Church, and Mike Pierson of Crossview Covenant Church, Mankato (vocals, acoustic guitar).
"The Project" is a group of musicians who share a common desire to praise and worship God through music! The members came together in 2009 after an invitation to participate in the upcoming 2009 Higher Ground Music Festival. The band plays a variety of contemporary Christian original and cover songs. They recently appeared as part of the "Riversong Music Festival" in Hutchinson during the Sunday morning music by the river.
You are invited to bring your family and friends and a lawn chair or blanket Enjoy a rootbeer float (served during the concert), relax, and listen to some great music!! A portion of free will donations/offering will be donated to a local charity.
