Freezing Summer's Flavors Class
Want to save some of those wonderful summer fruit and vegetable flavors to enjoy when the cold winter Minnesota winds are blowing but are afraid to try your hand at food preservation? Why not try freezing as a quick and easy start to preserve those fresh flavors. Join local food preservation enthusiast Heather Fischer as she leads you in the step-by-step freezing process. In this hands on class you will actually freeze seasonal produce and take product home with you. All supplies will be provided. Sponsored by the Heart of Hutch Eat Smart Committee.
