Hutchinson Arts Week

Celebrate art, community, and creativity in Hutchinson from May 29–31! Explore an exciting lineup of artist receptions, live performances, hands-on mural painting, and more. Most events are free to attend, and everyone is welcome.
 

Day 1: Thursday, May 29

📍 Art’s Place – 35 1st Ave SW (Free to Attend)

• 4 PM – Kickoff Event & Artist Reception
  Enjoy live performances, local food, and networking with artists and art lovers.
• 4 PM – Floral-Inspired Art Reception & Silent Auction
  Featuring mural-themed, floral artworks supporting the Hutchinson Center for the Arts. (Sponsored by Stockman’s & Crow River Floral)
• 5 PM – Crow River Youth Singers
• 6 PM – No Lines Improv Performance

📍 Hutchinson Center for the Arts – 218 Main St S, Suite 100

• 10 AM–5 PM – Community Mural Project
  Join your neighbors to co-create the “Welcome to Hutchinson” mural using paint-by-number.
• 6 PM – Hidden Hutchinson Tour (Tickets Required)
  A unique guided tour of Hutchinson’s hidden gems and historical sites.

Day 2: Friday, May 30

📍 Hutchinson Center for the Arts – 218 Main St S, Suite 100

• 10 AM–7 PM – Shelley Caldwell Artist Reception
  View and celebrate Shelley Caldwell’s latest artistic showcase.

📍 Clay Coyote – 22 1st Ave NE

• 12 PM–5 PM – Open Studio
  Watch pottery being made and learn tips on selecting the perfect pot.

📍 The Wine Lounge – 8 Main St N

• 6 PM–9 PM – Vinyl Night
  Relax with a curated mix of RiverSong artists from the past 16 years.

Day 3: Saturday, May 31

📍 Hutchinson Center for the Arts – 218 Main St S, Suite 100

• 10 AM–3 PM – Community Mural Project: Final Day!
