McLeod County Extension Master Gardener's Garden Magic

Join the McLeod County Extension Master Gardeners for Garden Magic. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this event will help you grow your knowledge and connect with a community that shares your passion. We’ll have two presentations by expert speakers, vendors offering garden-related products and services, food to enjoy while you mingle with fellow gardening enthusiasts, door prizes, and a silent auction featuring unique garden treasures. Speakers: Denise Haldorson — "Lilium: An oasis of color!" Denise will talk about what makes the lily one of the most popular garden flowers, their divisions, growing needs and planting tips. Learn how to add stunning color and texture to your garden with lilies. Julie Weisenhorn — "The foodscape: Celebrating the beauty of food" Gardeners of all kinds can use diverse plants and growing techniques to incorporate food plants into their own yards and gardens intentionally and thoughtfully. Cost: $35 online registration until April 14. Includes dinner. $40 after April 14 and at the door Registration: Online registration is encouraged.
