Every customer interaction is a potential sale. Handle it well and the customer's positive experience may result in a sale today and, if not today, perhaps a sale tomorrow. Handle it poorly and the customer may not only walk away but spread the tale of their dissatisfaction tainting other potential customers. By planning ahead to affect what is in your control, you will set the stage for the most positive experiences possible. Jim Lansing, Executive Director @ HCA & class instructor, spent 17 years in retail, some of that as a salesperson in regional department stores and as cashier/shift lead at multiple locations of a national drug store. He has also staffed numerous booths selling tickets and products for non-profits like professional organizations, festivals, and school PTAs. Bring your dinner and beverage as we will work through the dinner hour together.
