Chimney-decorated drop-off boxes are located in the public library and the local elementary schools. Collection dates are from November 7 to December 9. The books will be distributed locally by McLeod County Social Services. Since these books will be holiday gifts, they should be new books. Money donations to purchase books are also welcome and should be sent to: Friends of the Library, c/o Hutchinson Public Library, 50 Hassan Street SE, Hutchinson.
