Kari Weber, New London-Spicer Middle and High School art instructor, has new work in an exhibit titled "Rural Geometry", in which she is exploring contemporary views of the rural landscape. Colorful oil on canvas paintings articulate the spaces we inhabit in Central Minnesota, fields, prairies, and lakes juxtaposed with layers of contrasting color and geometric shapes that echo natural forms. Kari will be visiting the campus for gallery talks on Wednesday, March 4th at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Ridgewater Fine Art Gallery at the Hutchinson campus. Open 8 to 5 Monday-Friday. Parking is available for visitors near the entrances. This exhibit is available through March 13th.
