You’ll learn escapes from the most common holds — including wrist and arm grabs, chokes, bear hugs, and headlocks — plus proper punching and kicking mechanics. The class also teaches how to recognize and avoid threats before they escalate. The techniques are easy to learn and perform, and are science based proven effective. This is not a martial arts class.
Mark Brendemuehl holds a first-degree black belt in Japanese Jujitsu and Tae Kwon Do. Since 1997, he has trained law enforcement and corrections professionals in a wide range of defensive tactics and use-of-force techniques.
