Hutchinson Community Mental Health Awareness Day is dedicated to mental health awareness. Through outreach and education, we can create positive change by learning tips for communicating with someone about mental health. We encourage people in our community to learn about stigma and the impact common misconceptions around mental health have on others, talk about mental health more openly and compassionately and share the message of hope. Join the journey to end the stigma and support people with mental illness on May 18th. You can do this by: Wearing Green for Mental Health Awareness. Attending a workshop or two and the resource fair to learn more about mental illness and available resources.
