Tri-County Winter Webinar Series: A beginner's guide to houseplants

The second annual Tri-County Winter Webinar Series will be held on Tuesday afternoons from September to December, allowing gardeners to learn from experts during the day. This informative series will feature expert speakers covering a range of gardening and landscape topics, perfect for the beginner gardener or homeowner. Session information: Get started with growing houseplants in this beginner-friendly session. Learn the basics of plant care and simple tips to keep your indoor plants thriving. Emily Lindenfelser is the local horticulture Extension Educator and Master Gardener coordinator for Wright, McLeod, and Meeker counties. In her role, she delivers programming, supports volunteers, and answers a wide variety of technical assistance questions. Emily currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural communications and marketing and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in agricultural education and communication. She is also a certified tree inspector for the Minnesota DNR. She enjoys learning and expanding her technical knowledge in the field, especially in the area of natural resources.
