The Crow River Region Chapter of the Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented (MCGT) is hosting a CHAT (Connect, Help, Advocate, Talk) Night to informally connect parents and teachers of gifted children and help them to find other parents and teachers in similar situations, with an ear to listen, experiences to share, and solutions to offer. This FREE evening event will start with a brief presentation by MCGT President Karl Bunday on "Watching for Signs of Giftedness in Children." The evening will then commence into an open discussion among those present to allow for discussion on the topic with other parents and educators of gifted children. Continuing education contact hours will be available for educators and board games will be available for school-age children who accompany their parents.
