Women in Dairy: The Power of One Word

The Minnesota Dairy Initiative and the University of Minnesota Extension are excited to announce the upcoming Women in Dairy event! The Women in Dairy: The Power of One Word event is planned for Thursday, February 5 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Crow River Winery (14848 MN Highway 7) in Hutchinson, MN. The event's purpose is to inspire attendees with ties to the dairy industry through networking, education and empowerment. This year’s program will feature Peggy Coffeen, founder and host of Uplevel Dairy Podcast based out of De Pere, WI. Peggy has dedicated the past 15 years to sitting across the table with dairy farmers around the country, asking questions, telling their stories and connecting them to resources. Peggy’s keynote will emphasize The Power of One Word – What if instead of an overwhelming list of goals, you focused on just one word that could change your life in 2026? In this session, we will hear stories of others in the farming community who have risen to this challenge and their inspiring outcomes. Attendees will leave with their own word of the year and an action plan for how it will guide them. The Women in Dairy event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning with registration and social gathering, followed by dinner and presentation starting at 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required by completing the online registration form at z.umn.edu/womenindairy26.
