Who We’re Looking For
Are you skilled in cabinetmaking, electrical, glass, metal or plastics with experience brining various components and materials together in a final assembly? Do you excel in precision assembly, electrical integration, and functional testing? Goebel is seeking a Cabinetmaker-Outfitter who combines traditional craftsmanship with modern materials and techniques. The Details
Technical Skills
Operate and maintain woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, jointers, and specialized hand tools.
Interpret production drawings and specifications to craft fixture components to exact tolerances.
Understand and work with a wide range of materials: wood, metal glass, plastics, textiles hardware components and electrical.
Assemble casework, millwork, and fixtures to exacting standards using appropriate techniques and materials.
Assembly & Finishing
Install low-voltage LED lighting, wiring harnesses, switches, transformers, and related components as specified in blueprints.
Test and verify electrical connections for functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Coordinate with Engineering and QA to validate installation requirements and component compatibility.
Incorporate various materials into final assemblies
Blueprints & Measurements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints for dimensions, assembly requirements, and fixture details
Competence in using detailed measuring devices to ensure precision and quality
Capable of marking fixtures accurately with correct information
Fit, Function & Quality Assurance
Conduct dry-fit tests of assembled units to ensure components function as intended.
Inspect completed units for visual defects, structural stability, and dimensional accuracy.
Record and communicate any discrepancies, and actively participate in troubleshooting and corrective action plans.
Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Production Teams to uphold quality and fitment standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years in cabinetry, millwork, fixture production, or a related trade; outfitting or final assembly experience highly preferred.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, material take-offs, and hardware specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electrical systems integration.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment.
High attention to detail and craftsmanship standards.
