The City of Hutchinson seeks applicants to fill Public Works Maintenance Operator position. Duties include street sweeping, maintenance, grading, patching. Cemetery, traffic control, snow/leaf removal, tree removal/trimming, metal work, maintaining streets, facilities, grounds and other infrastructure of the city. Requires HS Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related experience and Class A Commercial Driver’s License without air brake & manual transmission restriction or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Desire diploma/certificate in technical education program for PW operators or related, 1-year experience in construction, municipal PW, or equivalent training; understanding of CMMS, inventory management and related software/hardware; ability to carry out oral/written directions, make decisions, work well with others. Salary range $25.938/hour to $38.907/hour. Depending on qualifications.
