The City of Hutchinson is seeking applications to fill a full-time Sr Network Administrator position. This position is a technical leadership role supporting both the City of Hutchinson and Hutchinson Utilities Commission. Reporting to the IT Director, this position oversees and strengthens network and cybersecurity programs while providing guidance and backup support to the Network Administrator and IT Technician. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining cybersecurity strategies; ensuring compliance with state, federal, and industry standards; securing SCADA systems for water, wastewater, gas, and electric utilities; monitoring networks for threats; and managing incident response, training, and disaster recovery planning. The role also supports server infrastructure, backups, Microsoft Windows environments, and IT projects, as well as assisting police departments with digital evidence and mobile technology systems. Qualified candidates will have a degree in IT or related field with significant experience, strong knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network security, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure with flexible hours. Full Salary Range: $37.921/hr - $56.881/hr, starting wage depending on qualifications.
