CCM is looking for groups to partner with us in our 3rd Wednesday Free Community Meals held at New Journey UCC. Your group plans the menu, shops, prepares & serves the meal. CCM covers the cost of supplies and sends extra volunteers to help in the kitchen, with set up, meal service and clean up on the day of the meal.
We are also seeking volunteers to help at our Thrift Shop in Glencoe. You can choose which days and how often you would like to work. You also have the choice of working up front with customers and running the register or in the back receiving, sorting and pricing donations to go on the sales floor. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11am-3pm. Wednesdays and Fridays are most in need of volunteers.
