Faces of the Past Gallery Talk and Public Reception

The Hutchinson Center for the Arts is pleased to partner with the McLeod Co Historical Society to present: "Faces of the Past" - 19th Century Crayon Portraits from the McLeod Co. Historical Society and Museum Permanent Collection. Lori Pickell-Stangel, Executive Director with the McLeod County Historical Society & Museum, will present a short talk on the history of 19th Century Crayon Portraits and the stories of these lesser known faces from the region. A unique opportunity to see a portion of the Historical Society's incredible permanent collection. Reception begins at 2:00, Gallery talk at 2:30 followed by a social hour. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The Exhibit runs September 7 - October 15, 2015
