Meghan’s Place Health and Wellness Day Parent Workshop

We are excited to provide a parent workshop in conjunction with our Health and Wellness Day! This
event is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Hutchinson Health Foundation.
Join us for a relaxing 2 ½ hour session, spend time networking with other parents of youth and young
adults with disabilities, and listen to a presentation from Marcy LaCroix of Disability Hub MN.

About the speaker:
Marcy LaCroix is a senior staff with Disability Hub MN, currently in the role of Community Capacity
Builder, with over 30 years of experience in disability services from entertainment and enjoyment, to
work and home life. Marcy is passionate in the area of person-centered practices as a trainer,
presenter, and ambassador. She is also a Community Partner Work Incentives Coordinator (CPWIC)
having completed training on the impact of Social Security and other benefits with the Virginia
Commonwealth University, and works to find unique ways to apply person-centered practices in this
area.

About the presentation:
Disability Hub MN is a partner in navigating the complexities of services and benefits often
encountered within the disability community. This presentation provides an in-depth introduction to
Disability Hub MN— who "The Hub" is; its virtual tools and resources; and how it supports
individuals and families in putting the pieces together. There will be ample time for questions and
answers, as we explore how the Hub fits into your toolbox as a resource on your journey of providing a
good life for your young person and the entire family.
