Cinty engineer/Assistant Public Works Director

The City of Hutchinson seeks applicants to fill a new City Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director position. This is an exempt position that is responsible for supervising and directing the operations of the Engineering Department, providing environmental and regulatory oversight for Public Utilities (storm water, wastewater, and water), and supporting the larger organization.  Future opportunities for the individual in this role include maintaining the momentum on current development and infrastructure projects, development and retention of a young professional staff, continued maintenance of the City’s infrastructure, and career growth.  Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal or related work environment.
