Compost Facility Maintenance Assistant

The City of Hutchinson is seeking applications to fill a Compost Facility Maintenance Assistant position at Creekside Soils.  Responsibilities include assisting equipment operators with processing incoming materials, perform custodial and semi-skilled maintenance, provide maintenance support to staff on minor repairs, perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming & weeding and decorative flower beds/shrubs, and other related duties as assigned.  Must be 18 years of age and have six months of relevant equipment operation experience and a valid drivers license.  32 hours per week, inside and outside work in all weather.  2025 Salary Range $20.62/hour - $30.94/hour.  The city provides a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, flex spending plan, Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF), generous paid leave policies, including vacation, sick, ESST, and 11 paid holidays, free Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and MN Public Employers Retirement Association (PERA) for qualified employees.  Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply by Friday, February 14, 2025.  For questions, more information and the required application visit www.hutchinsonmn.gov or email/call snelson@hutchinsonmn.gov, 320.234.5608.  111 Hassan St SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350.
